As a starter, here is the nationally rare Lady's Slipper orchid (Cypripedium calceolus), flowering near Arnside, Cumbria. The site is guarded around the clock, & various security devices are deployed as, sadly, some individuals cannot appreciate beauty where it belongs, and seek to steal for profit or sheer mindless selfishness. What company we keep!
